Questions, answered
What are your candles made of?
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using coconut wax, with either a cotton or a wood wick. We originally poured with soy and switched to coconut wax because we love how evenly it burns and how well it carries scent. The jars are custom-designed and made to be reused or refilled once the candle is done.
How do I get the best burn from my candle?
On the first light, let the melt pool reach the edge of the jar (usually 2 to 3 hours). This keeps the candle from tunneling. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn, keep burns under 4 hours, and never leave a lit candle unattended. Wood wicks like a slightly longer first burn and an occasional gentle trim of the charred edge.
Do you ship? How long does it take?
Yes, we ship anywhere in the US. Orders are hand-packed and shipped within 1–2 business days. Shipping is included in our online prices, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Why are online prices different from what I paid at the market?
Online prices include packaging and US shipping. Shipping is free, it's just built in. If you catch us in person at a craft fair or farmers market, you'll always get our in-person price.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. Every candle is checked by hand before it ships, but if your order arrives damaged, email us and we'll make it right.
